GOD’S CHALLENGE TO ME

October 3, 2008

Are you like me and can’t stand it when you are told that you can’t do something? I really have to be careful because that can be a real problem for me. I’ve been told all my life that I can’t do something for some reason or another. “You’re a girl” or “You’re too short,” or “You aren’t smart enough” or pretty enough or something else I am not enough of. I take all those negative comments as a challenges and run with them, proving many of them wrong. Thankfully, God can turn this weakness of mine around and turn it into a positive. He has a knack for that with everyone.

Ephesians 3:20 (KJV) says, “…Him that is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” A little background info on yours truly…

Hi Emma! I wanted to tell you that you’re not the only one. Very often I’ve heard ‘you can’t make money writing’ or ‘don’t think you can get a job in publishing.’ However, I managed to do both of those things! My boyfriend had the same experience when he wanted to join the Marine Corps in high school. He succeeded and scored very high on his test, even though he might have been the only person that truly believed in himself.

Thank you for making a positive difference in my life today! ~Tara
